Value Relationships

This morning my dad started his Christmas series...and one of the points showed to the application of how God values relationships! It was further challenge to me in this area...how I want to value the relationships God has given me so that I can have some kind of an influence in lives that points them to Jesus.
We then were blessed to spend the afternoon as a family with 5 other families and take some time to enjoy each other and dwell on the reason for the season. It was so much fun, with candy and chocolate, and ornament decorating, and Christmas music, and just good fun. As I reflect on that time tonight I am grateful for the many friends who God has placed in my life who, whether by prayer or by hands on, is helping me to point my children to Christ. How awesome that my kids can be surrounded by people who love them and have such an emphasis on loving the Lord.
So, thank you to all of my friends near and far.
And how great, that better than being valued by me you are all valued by God who sent His Son to be born many Christmases ago!
